Field studies

The rhythm of an on-site energy study

Most Facility Energy Consumption Audits follow this sequence. Knowing the rhythm helps facilities teams prepare keys, escorts, and bills before the walkthrough day.

Bill intake and scoping

We collect twelve months of utility bills, note tariff structure, and confirm which meters feed which floors. A short call sets escort needs and peak-load windows.

Walkthrough day

Field time covers plant rooms, lighting panels, and spaces that drive night load. Readings are logged against the schedule you provide—production, cleaning, and shift changes.

Ledger drafting

Interval or billed data is reconstructed into annotated charts. Opportunities are ranked for technicians, not padded into a long catalogue.

Delivery and clarification

You receive the written ledger and a walkthrough of findings. One clarification call within two weeks is included so open questions do not linger unpaid.

When a desk study is enough

Multi-site comparisons and monthly ledger reviews often begin without travel. If outliers appear, we recommend a focused field study rather than visiting every address first. That keeps budgets on the facilities that need eyes on the equipment.
